Here are pics of our "roomette" ... with bunk beds. It is compact to be sure! But, better than sleeping in a seat, and so quaint and cute!! The boys are BESIDE THEMSELVES ... laughing, playing, SO excited. Roman already has his bunkbed down and is climbing all over the place. Oy! Let's hope they can get some energy out before nighttime when they'll need to be quiet.
The first place we arrived after leaving the dining car, oh and the veggie burger was lovely (!), was Santa Domingo Pueblo. Which is neat, because we have a student at the Commission for the Blind who is from here.
We made our dinner reservation for 6pm, so we can have an early night. Our conductor is very nice too.
I just LOVE train travel. It's so civilized and serene and beautiful.
Off to explore the train!
