KC was a prolonged stop, about 20 minutes, so I took the opportunity to get out, stretch, walk around, and see what I could see.
I saw a grand, old train station! It is gorgeous!! I didn't realize that KC had one of the cool old stations, nor did I realize how many Union Stations there were in this country!
The Christmas tree was huge! And they had a cool Christmas themed play village down one massive wing, as well as a model railroad, a Lego candyland, and a Lego Star Wars! Also, an interesting, but unknown to me, monument just outside the front doors.
