I awoke this morning to a forest, a river and mist in the treetops. Sigh. I grew up in this type of landscape!! Got giddy when I opened the curtain and saw it, and have rarely left the window since. I thrive and am serene near water, which makes, as you might imagine, living in the southwest desert difficult for me.
These shots were taken in Pennsylvania, but the landscape looks like this in Maryland too, which is where we are now. About 3 hour outside of DC.
Broke my fast in my room, staring out the window. Continental breakfast with fruit, Greek yogurt, oatmeal, and a while wheat biscuit.
It's an overcast day but quite warm, already near 60° and its mid morning. It's supposed to be 67° in DC!! Though very wet. Unseasonable weather to be sure.
My beloved just woke ... I'm off for now!!
